Dr. Amir Kishon, Chairman and CEO
Chairman and CEO of Wellness Layers since 2002, Amir is a veteran of the Internet healthcare market. Prior to Wellness Layers, Amir was SoftWatch’s Chairman and CEO, establishing SoftWatch as a leading provider of web-based CRM solutions for the global healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
Amir has twenty years of management experience, including software management positions at EFI (NASDAQ:EFI) and the Israeli Defense Forces. He has also served as a researcher at Yale University Computer Science Department.
Amir holds a BS in Physics from Tel-Aviv University and a PhD in Computer Science from Yale University. |

Elad Levran, VP of Client Relations
Overseeing Wellness Layers site operations and corporate client relationships since 2004, Elad is a veteran consumer services and business development executive. Prior to Wellness Layers, Elad served at Scepia, Israel’s largest Internet development company, as COO. Prior to Scepia, Elad served at SoftWatch as Lead Group Manager in the Professional Services division, supervising projects for Fortune 500 companies such as Medscape and Abbott.
Previously he was responsible for the management and operations of Tower Records stores in Israel, and also served as a business development executive at SGS, a European based business development company. |

Ami Klein, VP of Research and Development
Serving as Wellness Layers VP of R&D since 2005, Ami previously was R&D Manager at Scepia, Israel’s largest Internet development company. At Scepia Ami oversaw all development and technology innovation services for over 70 large industrial and government websites. Prior to Scepia, Ami served as the Development Center Location Manager at Elity Inc, a US rule engine software company.
Ami had 10 years of prior experience in Internet development and management of software development at Eliogram, a subsidiary of RGTI Inc, a warehouse management solutions provider.

Lucy Reynales, Director of Sales and Marketing
Lucy has eight years of experience in sales and marketing within the health and wellness industry in a number of care areas including weight management, oncology, ophthalmology, surgery, wellness, and diabetes. She has overseen successful traditional and digital marketing campaigns both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business.
As the Director of Sales and Marketing at Wellness Layers, Lucy has been a key contributor in driving new business in established and new markets. She has led the adoption of the Wellness Layers Social and Mobile Platform with PinnacleHealth, DaVita, NBC’s The Biggest Loser and several others. Lucy holds an AA in Liberal Arts from Santa Monica College and a BA in Political Science from Columbia University. |

Galen Karten, Director of Account Management
Galen has been Director of Account Management at Wellness Layers since 2006. He was previously employed at IDT Corporation, a leading telecommunications provider, where he served in a number of executive positions including Director of Business Process Outsourcing. Galen has over twelve years of experience in managing new product development from creative concept to market delivery. As a producer at the Learning Company, Galen led teams in the functional and media enhancement of several best-selling titles including Bodyworks 5.0 and Mosby's Medical Encyclopedia. In his role as Director of Internet Production at Versaware, Galen managed the day-to-day activities for a department responsible for all company Internet projects and initiatives.

Jennifer May, MS, RD, MS
Manager, Wellness Layers Nutrition Services
Jennifer manages of the development of wellness programs at Wellness Layers. She is a Registered Dietitian, Exercise Physiologist and Certified Well-Coach with a BS in Environmental Health from Purdue University.
She also holds two MS degrees from Indiana University in Applied Health Science, Nutrition Science and Kinesiology. |

Karen Baron, Editor
Karen has an extensive background in writing, editing and marketing, with previous experience in the publishing, education and advertising fields. She has written and edited for numerous websites and has created a wide range of marketing collateral for hi-tech, real estate, and other commercial sectors. Prior to joining Wellness Layers, Karen served as Marketing Manager for an educational publishing company.
Karen received a BA in History with Honors from UCLA. |
